Absolutely do NOT give your ID or face scan on Discord. It's even worse than expected. Apparently due to people bypassing current systems, they're switching to "persona" which is funded by fucking Peter Thiel.

Zack Polanski, the Green party leader, was also at the night-time economy conference in Liverpool today. He is from Manchester and he told the Guardian that Jim Ratcliffe did not understand the football club he co-owns. Polanski said:
14 In Manchester United's last match against West Ham, three-quarters of the players selected were born outside the UK. That's not 'colonisation' - it's modern football, and it's Manchester.
The real issue isn't migrants who come here, work hard, pay their taxes and contribute to our communities.
It's tax-dodging billionaires like Jim Ratcliffe who migrate to Monaco to avoid paying millions to Britain to help fund our public services while lecturing everyone else about patriotism.
The fact Nigel Farage and Matt Goodwin welcome his divisive, racist remarks show which side they support - and it's not Manchester.

Thankfully someone is calling out this bullshit immigration trope that’s repeatedly trotted out to make people think immigrants are a threat.

Don’t be fooled. Immigration isn’t the problem. Take a read, it’s clear what *is* a problem.

This is an enormous victory for the Palestinian solidarity movement, for civil liberties and for our common humanity.

The real crime is this government’s complicity in genocide - and we will not rest until we have justice for the Palestinian people.

Here’s some sketches exploring one of my ideas for the creature from β€œThe Terror” by Dan Simmons, and how I imagined it could work as a supernatural element while still able to be mistaken for a polar bear at a glance or in the distance~

The EU has just voted, by a VERY wide margin, for the full recognition of trans women as women…!

RIP Robert Tinney (November 22, 1947 – February 1, 2026), the artist famous for his playful covers for Byte magazine, a hobbist magazine that ushered in the microcomputing age from the mid-70s through the 90s. I'm honored to have included his work in my own art collection.

it should go without saying, but misinformation doesn't suddenly become Good when it's against the Bad Guys. Misinformation is still misinformation, and it devalues the actual reality of the situation we're in.

Open Letter from Thames Water MPs: Ofwat must reject the Thames Water deal Read our open letter to Chris Walters, interim CEO of Ofwat and Emma Reynolds MP, Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, signed by MPs from the Thames Water region.

More than 2,000 Thames Water customers asked their MPs to sign our open letter to Ofwat and the Environment minister, Emma Reynolds.

Thames Water's creditors want to be allowed to pollute illegally until 2040. That's completely unacceptable.

Which MPs actually signed the letter? Find out here.

Epstein files mention cannibalism, 'ritualistic sacrifice.' That's not the full story Some accusations stemmed from an FBI interview with a unidentified man. There was no credible evidence to support them.

www.snopes.com/fact-check/e... and major thanks to this snopes article that also writes about this conspiracy in a much better and concise way than I could give

11.02.2026 00:04 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

I'm not sure I'll make this a habit to post about because the epstein files are horrific and I don't want my mental health becoming worse again. Someone stronger than me has to do that.

But if I manage to get one person away from these conspiracies then it's worth it.

11.02.2026 00:04 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

The truth of the matter is that Epstein and his associate's crimes are instead horrifically mundane and how normalised their sexual abuse to children is to them.

I think this is all I want to say, I'm not even any expert or journalist, but we need to all do our part to combat misinformation online

11.02.2026 00:04 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

When you invite these conspiracies, you invite bigotry, scapegoating, grifting, and devalue the severity of the real crimes that have happened. You make the wrong enemy, when the real enemy all along is the rich and their capitalist system that supports these trafficking and genociding bastards.

11.02.2026 00:04 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Epstein's crimes are not a religion issue, because you don't need to worship a evil blood god to do evil things.

You only need to think you're right, think it's normal, or just don't care. Plus if you are rich and powerful and can avoid consequences scott free? That can be all it takes.

11.02.2026 00:04 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

It is also no coincidence that these conspiracies have been peddled by right wing christians as well. Because a good good fearing Christian can never do bad, right? When of course, systemic abuse in Christian communities has been a historically long documented phenomenon.

You don't need me to tell you that Israel does not represent the entire Jewish community. Many criticisms to Israel have been made by Jewish people, including those of Orthodox denominations that follow the holy scriptures as strictly as possible.

11.02.2026 00:04 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

I've even seen people say that Israel's genocide against the Palestinians is all part of one big Jewish blood sacrifice, and... Where do I begin with this?

11.02.2026 00:04 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

You've probably seen a lot of people now talk about how Baal is a 'demon that the Jews worship' and why Judaism is so 'crazy', make no mistake, this is antisemitism and is not reflective of truth. The real Baal is more a title that's debated about by Jewish scholars to this day

11.02.2026 00:04 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

A prime example of this was the accusations of blood libel against the Jewish people. In fact, many modern conspiracies still take from very antisemitic origins. Accusations of eating babies and drinking blood has long been used against Jewish people.

11.02.2026 00:04 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

As you can guess, accusations of satanic ritual abuse was often thrown at various disenfranchised groups that could be Othered. If you look back further in history these kinds of moral panics where a group is accused of horrific acts to be scapegoated are a repeating pattern.

11.02.2026 00:04 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

The satanic panic is a lot to get into through just one bsky thread and there's plenty of documentation on it you can research on your own, but the main point of it here, is that it was a moral panic used by the american conservatives as a scapegoat for the economic and social ills of the time.

11.02.2026 00:04 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

But why care? Why care about the accusation of demonic worship and child sacrifice when Jeffrey and his associates are already evil abusive people?

If you lived through the 80s or are already familiar with conspiracy lingo, you may have noticed this sounds very similar to the Satanic Panic.
