Had a great time at the BioNet conference in Calgary! I was excited to share part of my PhD project on the caribou gut microbiome 🦠. It was a pleasure connecting with folks in genomics, metagenomics, and bioinformatics :) thanks for the great discussions!

We learned that fewer wolves are removed during caribou recovery efforts if primary prey - ie moose - are also managed.
