I agree 100%. People talking so much about the box office (especially the Week 1 box office) has ruined a lot of the discourse about movies. The amount of money a movie makes upfront has nothing to do with its success (see: The Thing)

I like Threads, but some people I follow there say the two are different in the type of conversations ongoing. I heard it was harder to get traction here (It seems harder to find people to follow). I'm giving it a try, though.
