I realize this comment isn't about the politics. I just have to say that Mike Myers has aged well and I love how healthy he looks. An inspiration to me as I age gracefully (some days).

100% agree. I feel for the workers who are facing this right now. It's disgusting.

We know this, and yet there are many who don't, or don't care, or are just mad that anyone not male and not white hold a good or great job vs themselves. We ALL benefit from DEI initiatives. I really wish more folks would educate themselves on it.

This encapsulates the moment for me, and why I'm taking part in the resistance. I am not built to comply to this regime and all they stand for.

My understanding of this offer to the workers is that they wouldn't be required to work but still be paid, and that would be for several months. Since when do Republicans approve paying people not to work? This seems very counterintuitive to their brand. And yes, it's a grift on many, every, level.

Hello everyone! I've been absent while I navigated life. Glad to see the vibe here is still amazing! I've pushed the launch of my new podcast to early this year from February. I've also moved my fourth poetry collection out as well. I want to enjoy the creative process; the deadlines are only mine.

100% my strategy this go round. No longer getting entangled in his nonsense, as it is going to be 24/7/365 for the next four years. My energy is spent on helping my community through my work with the city where I live, taking care of myself and loving on those I can and who will allow me to.

I'm binge watching Schitts Creek for the 2nd time. I also watched Disney's Underdog. No reading yet but I did work on my website and planning for upcoming author events. I see reading in my day tomorrow after some shopping. Anyone interested will find my site address in my BlueSky profile.

I've completed the first blanket made for my own use. It complements my nature themed bedroom. My cat, Mack, approves of the finished product. This is a crocheted blanket roughly full to queen size as a full topper covering.
