Grateful to all our our panelists, LA Tech Incubator for hosting and to CalETC for their collaboration and EV tour at the #LAAutoShow. The work ahead is big, but so is the progress we’re seeing.

Yesterday we held a Select Committee Hearing on Electric Vehicles and Charging Infrastructure here in LA.

We had key conversations about EV and charger affordability, reliability, process for heavy duty vehicles, grid connections, and making EV adoption easier across California.

Thank you to Moms Demand Action, the families, and the survivors who came together tonight to remember Gracie and Dominic — and to push for the safer, more compassionate future our kids deserve.

I joined The Signal’s Top 51 luncheon today to celebrate the leaders, advocates, and community members who make Santa Clarita such a special place to live. It’s an honor to serve families in the Santa Clarita Valley, and I want to thank Richard Budman and The Signal for this recognition!

I was proud to recognize Chief Warrant Officer 2 (Ret.) Emby Gonzalez as our AD40 Veteran of the Year. After 21 years in the Marine Corps, Emby continues her service as a VSO — helping veterans and their families access the benefits they earned with compassion, dedication, and care.

At our Veterans Of The Year celebration we honored veterans from across the district who continue to serve others long after their military service.

The smoke you see or smell may be CAL FIRE conducting prescribed burns—part of our ongoing work to make California more wildfire resilient.

With wildfire activity slowing and weather creating safer conditions, prescribed fire operations increase across the state.

They show up every single day with so much heart. From medical care and socialization to emergency response during wildfire season, they are doing lifesaving work for our furry friends.

Had a wonderful time at A Night with the Stars, hosted by the Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care & Control, to support our Santa Clarita shelter pets. Our shelter team and volunteers work to give animals safety, care, and a second chance at a loving home.

I’ll keep fighting to ensure every veteran has access to trusted, accredited support and gets every penny they deserve for the sacrifices they’ve made.
