I can honestly see the idea of detachable controllers on a portable device that function as a mouse being the Thing that other portable consoles take as inspiration for the potential next generation of Steam Deck - likes. Seems simple, but big potential imo

What gets me most about his dumbass post is -- "against impossible odds" is always just "the very odds the game developers designed to be difficult but fair". Like no, those odds are incredibly possible. They're by design possible. You were forged in the fires of, at best, a hot summer's day.

A meme of a cow facing two split paths, which eventually merge into one. The caption reads, “The illusion… …of free choice.” One path says, “The launch is a smash hit”, whereas the other says, “the launch bombs”. Both paths merge into the end, a layover screenshot of a corporate message announcing layoffs at a games studio. The terminus reads, “mass layoffs”. No matter how good or bad a game is, no matter how successful, it always seems to result in significant cuts to the very staff that makes things.
