It can be really hard to shut ppl (esp parents) out forever & not check in case things are better. I struggle keeping it clear in my head too so I gotta check to remind myself exactly why I chose to stay away after a while, otherwise I just think maybe I was being unreasonable in the first place 🙃

I got pushed around the zoo the other day, it was still incredibly hard on my body but I saw these guys and genuinely had to fight back tears while watching them because I was so happy.
