Know Before You Go (To FNM)

A clachan, a kithkin village, isn't pronounced "claw chan". It varies with dialect, but it's close to clackin' or "clock in", except that the "ch" often makes the sound at the end of "loch", rather than a hard "k".

I'm going through my dad's vinyl collection. Stuff from the 70s and 80s. Dolly Dots, a Dutch girl pop group, was fun to discover, especially the disco-oriented album Take Six.
