How to you "work tirelessly to hold them accountable" after they are in office? Post on social media?

We hold them accountable by not voting for their policies when their policies are unacceptable. That's not only the BEST way to hold them accountable, it's literally the ONLY way.

Democrats always agree with most human rights ideals we hold.

Until they don't.

And then they drone the M.E., coup Honduras, assassinate Qaddafi and turn Libya into a basket case, back genocide, and fold on LGBTQ issues.

Watch what they do. Not what they say.

What else are they supposed to do?

Provide health care for everyone?

Don't make me laugh.

Here, watch them work out instead. I know you will like that.

They've killed only 60,000 people. So that doesn't count. And razed an entire society. But still. They may have completely wiped out an entire state, but why will people call that genocide? I can imagine worse. This isn't so bad. Imagine if it had been worse. THAT would be genocide. Not this.

People who downplay Jan. 6 but get upset over political smears are maybe not familiar with the legal definition of "treason."

Sort of. They're a prize given to anyone with a good idea for indoctrinating students into Leninist ideology.

Yes, he did.

And he bought JD Vance's Senate seat, and pushed him on Trump.

He and his circle are serious about killing us. Their idea of Utopia is a dystopia for the lot of us.

This isn't incompetence. It is literally the goal. Listen to Curtis Yarvin & Peter Thiel. They've said it out loud.

Billionaires don't see us as co-human. We're an inefficient resource. They will work us until we're used up, & throw us out. And they don't need 300m of us.

YOU gave the keys to them. YOU supported a candidate who promised to continue genocide, further strengthen the police state and military, and offered us nothing but "the alternative will be worse."

Tell me, what goal were YOU seeking?

Pelosi calls Epstein controversy As MAGA tears itself apart, Pelosi said lawmakers have more important issues to worry about.

"The fact that some of my colleagues rape children isn't important. The important things are the kitchen table issues we don't do anything about."

They'd rather lose than do something to win over those voters. They've been proving that with literally everything they do for more than a decade.

Polls show that most people already got the wake up call. Awareness isn't the problem.

The problem is that the rich, powerful people who run the show don't care, and many of the riff raff don't either.

Smokers know cigs cause cancer. They smoke anyway. And here we are.

And that takes time. Which social media generally doesn't afford.

Which leaves us with memes.

I mean...that's what social media is inherently good at.

believes in some kind of "invisible hand" and "rich people create jobs" BS. Or you have to dismantle the myth of American exceptionalism, or something. I frequently find I can make no headway with someone bc there is an underlying myth behind their opinion.

You have to have root that stuff out.

Beyond the limitations of social media itself (which fosters bumpersticker comments rather than "mature discussion and debate"), most people have to have their "frames" dismantled before you can discuss an issue. You can't convince someone that "tax cuts for the rich are wrong" if the person...

They're addicts. They're addicted to venting their misery.

No matter how much they "purify" society, it will never be enough. Never. They will always need to eliminate another element of society. They're trapped in an endless Whack-a-mole while on meth.

Pelosi ridiculed the "'Green New Dream' or whatever they call it." They increased funding for militarizing the police.

The GOP is worse. They are the sword of the oligarchs, but the Dems are the shield.

We're not "in-fighting." If you don't see this, we aren't on the same team.

Dems today consistently support conservative candidates over progressives. They pulled out all the stops to prevent Sanders from getting the nomination, supported Cuellar over Cisneros in a strongly blue district, and are mobilizing rn to stop the election of Mamdani from becoming mayor of NYC.
