Weβre saddened to share the passing of retired PSD Grimm. A valued member of SPD, Grimm was a 2016 national tracking champ and he and handler Cst. Morin completed 100+ successful tracks. Retired in 2021, he passed away peacefully on Oct 13, at the age of 13. Thank you for your service, Grimm.

On Sept 28, a hit-and-run at Shelbourne Plaza left two pedestrians injured. Thanks to video footage, Traffic Safety Unit officers identified the driver, who has now been ticketed under the Motor Vehicle Act.

A Quebec man, arrested at an airport as he attempted to leave BC, recently plead guilty to four counts of fraud. The four seniors who he attempted to scam will all be receiving their money back, which totaled over $43-thousand dollars.
