Tonight we're seeing that we have other options. They should too.

My thoughts are with the victims of today's UPS plane crash, but they are also with the NTSB investigators who, tomorrow, will dig through half a mile of toxic debris to find the black boxes, all without being paid. Godspeed to them as well.

Thanks to this post, I decided to test whether my cats would eat a black bean. The only cat that liked it was the orange boy. He had three of them, so we know he's got his fiber for the day.

I know, I am so sorry about Jude. 😟 Pretty sure Flower knows that she's loved. And knowing that she will end her life in a safe, happy, caring place is all anyone could ever hope for.

We've had a rough couple of weeks, between sick cats & hubby needing stitches in a fingertip, then my back & neck going out badly. So we treated ourselves to the K-Pop Demon Hunters sing-along show.

We were the only adults without kids, and I do not care. 😌 It was an absolute blast.

Part of the reason that it's hard to "adult" right now is that most of what you're expected to do in "adulting" is activity to set up a stable future.

I have great- and great-great nephews/nieces, but they're just plain nieces & nephews to me. They don't call me great- or great-great-aunt Merlin, because that's too damned much of a mouthful. Families should keep things flexible, because we're all just family. Period.
