Children of Termina

A landscape digital painting set in Japan. In the far distance is a faint mountain and fluffy clouds in the sky, water and patches of trees and land make their way to the foreground. In the foreground is a path leading to a red Japanese Tori Gate surrounded by green and pinky purple bushes.

I decided to switch it up a bit and try painting a scene. I sort of used Bob Ross' method of painting landscapes. Definitely need to practice more so I can stop running away from my background responsibilities haha.

Going through a period where I feel like everything I draw is bad, so I'm doing a lot of studies and trying to have something new done soon.

Here's a realism study I did last month with just a pencil brush and smudge tool. Haven't done realism in forever, so I was surprised it didn't go terribly.

I've been watching the new Panty and Stocking season finally and have been loving the art, so I tried to do a style study. Definitely going to try this again, and want to study the colour palettes too.
