As someone who has never been very good at Street Fighter, I’m finally finding the fun in SF6(since T8 is it on fire)! Who woulda thought I just needed to play a grappler.
Gold’s nothing too impressive yet, but seeing as I started in Iron I’m still proud!

Like I wanna be excited for Deltarune but I don’t know how well any of the story is gonna hit if it takes me 2 weeks to get through it. Probably why I’ve gravitated towards movies tbh

The older I get, the more I struggle to finish single player games. Between work, relationships, and other hobbies, I just don’t feel like I have the time to enjoy the stories of games when I can only play them in 2 hour increments every couple days.

This time of year sucks cause there’s so few movies coming out. I’m dying to go to a theater, but it’s mostly the same shit the last month.
I’m reluctantly gonna see Captain America, THAT’S how desperate it is

I saw Nickel Boys. tldr: it’s beautifully crafted and inspiringly shot. I think this will only leave a stronger impression on me over the coming days.

Absolutely insane Challengers didn’t get a single Oscar nomination. I absolutely loved that movie. From the way the sport of tennis was shot, the character work, the complex relationships, and the constant horny energy… what a misfire to not award it ANYTHING

Three movies on my radar for this weekend: The Presence, Nickel Boys, and the Brutalist. Two of which are Oscar nominated for best film!
Brutalist will probably be the last I watch just cause of the 3.5 hour runtime tho 😅

This is my first game with a battlepass though and I gotta say… not a fan! Doesn’t feel like there’s a whole lot to unlock that even remotely interests me in the pass and getting anything free seems like a hassle since they’re mostly locked behind achievements. Never thought I’d miss a loot box.

I didn’t realize just how badly I missed OW til I started playing Marvel Rivals. Rivals is a lot of fun! I’m still feeling our characters, but Thor, Moon Knight, and Luna Snow have been my favorites so far.

Nine Sols may be my game of the year. Not only is the blend of Hollow Knight and Sekiro perfect to my interests, but the story is really solid too! Can’t recommend it enough

Too many good movies out right now! I’m gonna try to see Anora, A Real Pain, and maybe Meanwhile on Earth over the next week. The hardest part is gonna be picking which to see first…

Another platinum down with REDACTED! It’s a really fun Hades-like game that, while lacking in much story, is a blast to play! It’s also a spin-off of Callisto Protocol for some reason
