Yeah, that's basically the only good part. Building is great. Everything else is just unfun after the plains biome. me and 2 other friends tried to get through everything, even turning down the world settings to make the game bearable. Got to the final biome ashlands. Gave up after like 10 minutes.

The game is designed to be as against the player as possible after a certain point and progression becomes so painfully tedious to do after one of the biomes

Not to mention no matter how much gear you make, you will never feel the difference between what you have now and what you had at the start

Valheim after the plains biome is not worth fucking playing
