project runway: bad bc guest judges are typically incompetent and have no understanding of the criteria

the bachelor: bad bc every rule is arbitrarily enforced

just makeup: bad bc 2 of the judges are good at their jobs but 2 of them often have nothing to say or give feedback that is clearly wrong

culinary class wars achieves reality tv greatness because both judges give consistent and well-reasoned feedback, but one is jolly and kindhearted and the other is smug and evil
