I agree. As a person who's never registered with a party, I hate the idea of "team based voting". I do however currently think one side is much worse than the other. But the founding fathers assumed elected officials would act with good faith. Republicans are not currently doing that.

I think getting ranked choice instituted everywhere is a better starting point.

I get it and thanks for the explainer. When I first watched it I'll be honest, my first thought was, "This is just Disney making more Star Wars bs because they think if it's labeled Star Wars anybody will watch it." and I noped out.

I think for me when I watch Star Wars media I want the force, light sabers, or at least a strong connection to the lore related to the main characters from the movies. I didn't get that from Andor.
