Now this isn’t the correct answer but the thing I’m actually going to do is do some online shopping and try to throw money at my sadness

And I guess I MUST be the problem because I’m the common denominator here but I don’t know what to do

And I’m always getting the vibe that my other “irl” group of friends texts each other all the time without ever texting me, because when we do hang out in person everyone else seems to know more about each other than I ever know

But when it’s a Saturday night hang at one of their houses and they didn’t even ASK if I would want to come? What the fuck. Truly. I feel like a ridiculously pathetic lonely college kid loser all over again. What is wrong with me that people keep doing this to me

I don’t know who to even complain about this to so I guess it’s going here: it really fucking sucks when your best friends hang out together and don’t even invite you. And it’s not a distance thing. They’re my local friends. And I get it when it’s during the day on a weekday.

What a 48 hours I will have

……..Those were definitely a nuisance I had to deal with every month from a young age like a normal cis woman…

My uterine cancer was (most likely) caused by the fact that I almost never got periods so when people hear I got a hysterectomy and they go “well at least you don’t have to get periods anymore!” I’m like haha yeah…….

Waiting at the gate at my small regional airport has me thinking things like “well I don’t know or recognize any of these people, but have I been in the presence of any of them before? Have we been at the grocery store at the same time? Have we been to the same concert?”

Every day the same questions: are my drunk parents annoying because they’re MY parents (and other sober people would think they’re fine), because I’m sober (and I wouldn’t think they were annoying if I was drunk), because I’m just weird, because they ARE annoying, or a combo

Like I personally don’t think they would ACTUALLY care!!

RIGHT I don’t understand! I didn’t look at the paperwork thing so I don’t know if it’s like… just a general program and that’s one of the default things it asks for? But my mom was scared to actually talk to the work people and admit she didn’t have it so idk what they would’ve done

they said they would email it to her! They said they really don’t usually do this, but are making an exception due to the fact her her school doesn’t exist anymore lol

But nope, they no longer have any records there. She called the college she graduated from and they said they can’t share due to privacy reasons?

But FINALLY a breakthrough: she called the first college she went to (didn’t graduate from, transferred to another school)

She cannot find her diploma anywhere. She has searched everywhere. Usually you would think “call your high school, they should be able to help.” But… her high school doesn’t exist anymore and it closed down over 10 years ago. It was a private school at a church. Church still exists and she did call

The wild thing my mom has been dealing with the past few weeks:

She got a new job and was trying to fill out a bunch of paperwork before starting. They are requiring she provide a high school diploma. Despite the fact she’s a 55 year old registered nurse (and this is an RN position)

I think I pulled a muscle getting off of the floor. Why was I on the floor? To brush the dog, of course

Oh and they didn’t tell me about either location/appointment I just have them on find my friends lol

My parents left without telling me they were leaving, only mildly annoying. Especially because my dad also just had surgery and was at a follow up appointment. But then they went to Dairy Queen and I highly doubt they’re going to bring me anything back and I’m preemptively angry about it

You know what’s crazy is how few people who should be supposedly close to me didn’t contact me directly to ask me about how I’ve been post surgery. Like my grandma hasn’t even called me.

I was having a hard time sleeping the weeks up to surgery and now it is much worse lol I only slept like an hour at a time. I think I’m going to take some more meds and attempt to get some more sleep

Okay I actually just read my post op notes and when they sent my uterus to pathology it DID have endometrial cancer! I mean it’s gone now, but still what a rollercoaster

It looks like last time I talked about what was going on I was still calling it cancer which is what I was told, but another doctor hada their team look at it and said it was precancerous not actual cancer yet but hysterectomy was still a good and viable treatment plan so we went with that

Sorry I don’t post important things here for my pals who aren’t on fb/insta but uhhh I had a hysterectomy today that’s some big news! But everything went well, I’m at my parents’ house recovering now and my mom is an actual nurse so that’s extra nice in this situation

The weird thing about early flights with layovers is like… no one here knows I had to wake up at 2:30 AM to start my travel day

Today was my last day of work for summer and that’s exciting and tomorrow I leave to visit my sister and the children which is also exciting but you know what is NOT exciting? The 5:30 AM flight at an airport that is an hour away from where I live

Just bought tickets to see Hamilton for the… 7th or 8th time? I’ve legit lost track. And this time wasn’t even my idea it was my mom who said we should go again I was content with skipping it 😂

BUT! My kidney appointment today was good and I don’t have to go back for 8 months 👍🏻 aaand no fracture from my fall last week but it still fucking hurts

I have been to doctors appointments/similar things (lab draws, etc) seven times in the past month and it’s not even all cancer related AND there is more to cube obvs
