I’m a linear park along the banks of the Ward River, next to Swords town. Heavily wooded areas. Impressive diversity of wildlife. Many ancient monuments. 🇮🇪🇵🇸

Minority representation on TV causes outrage There has been widespread support for prominent Reform MP Sarah Pochin after she complained about the over-representation of minorities on television. Said one angry viewer, "She's right. Every time you turn on the telly there's another Reform MP being interviewed by Laura Kuenssberg." She added, "I respect their way of life and their strange customs, but Reform MPs comprise only 0.7 percent of the House of Commons. Yet Nigel Farage is on Question Time more than Fiona Bruce." "I'm not prejudiced. Some of my best friends are swivel-eyed loons, but enough is enough. There are too many people with angry red faces on television.”
Gotta love Private Eye.
Always cuts through the crap.

78% are murdered by a partner/ex
Yet not once have I heard Reform talk about this
Not once have I heard them back measures to protect women’s safety
In fact, they voted against them...

This kind of sudden and intense rain has become the new normal—and our infrastructure isn’t prepared for it.

Sir, - Saturday’s article, “Lessons learned from visiting 59 countries”, is an echo-chamber of encouragement to those who continue to fly despite the climate crisis (Magazine, October 26th). Flying is a highly greenhouse gas-emitting activity. With so much disinformation and misinformation around climate change on social media, we badly need newspapers that are truly “in- formed and responsible”. - Yours, etc, CO’REILLY, Dublin 18.

That this exquisite chalk stream should be polluted with e-coli, pesticides, cleaning products, industrial chemicals, medicines + toiletries is a tragedy beyond words that could be prevented by improving sewage systems so wastewater is treated 3 times - enough to remove most chemicals + pathogens
