i think MOTHER! was a pretty remarkable experience but listening to our boy talk about it made it clear to me that he doesn't even really know what he is he makes. he makes art by tripping ass over ankles down a dark hallway.

darren aronofsky switching to an AI series makes total sense. he's one of our absolutely dumbest filmmakers and one of the least curious artists given such a platform. his couple movies that are good are entirely by accident, by his own interpretations of his work
