-Place extra battery/ies in pants or inside coat pockets (closer to your body), as extreme cold can adversely impact the capacity of lithium-ion batteries.
-I carry a large trash bag to place on the ground if I have to kneel.

Yep. I needed a more modern, fairly portable system, so I bought a Sony A7CII, Sigma 24-70 2.8 and Sony 50mm 1.8. I may add the Sigma 16-28 2.8 when I visit B&H in person in mid-Feb. I was all hyped to get a Hasselblad X2D II system to replace my Pentax 645Z, but I have mostly shelved that idea.

So, not paid out-of-state agitators? 🤔
