Semi regular update to this

I've got a document like that for my living dex already, this new document idea was something to visualise the dex with the shinies i have in colour and the ones i don't greyed out, but it was far too much work for me

I made a third of the first page yeah i'm not doing that shit

Considering making a third document to track my shiny living dex that i would need to update for every shiny i find

The postgame ZA Royale is not very fun and having to get the challenge ticket fifteen entire times to unlock the stuff with Urbain is a right drag

What ever happened to the Zygarde Core? It feels like Zygarde's been changed to just have Cell, 10%, 50% and Complete as of gen 9. Like, neither the Z-A Zygarde or Gibeon's Zygarde in the anime have ever changed into a Core, but have shown every other state

I think this is too cool for Game Freak and not the direction they'd go in but imagine if we got a game called like "Pokémon Legends: Volo" to finish the Legends series

I like that Pokémon Legends seems to be an anthology series where the games are largely unconnected to each other, but also the hint in ZA that Volo is still alive makes me think they coullddddd be setting up an overarching plot in the legends games culminating in an epic finale someday

Also i just have to say that 6 year old me cooked so hard picking Ben 10 as a special interest, its such a great series that holds up even to today

(Well, Classic and UAF at least, some of Omniverse didn't age that well and isn't great)

I haven't rewatched Ben 10 classic in far too long, need to do that again

I also don't drive which means i have to rely on others which, while i'm grateful that i have people to help me, does mean things are therefore not in my control which makes me even more stressed

Doing the thing adults do where you change what building you live in and have to manually take all your items from building 1 to building 2 is pretty stressful isn't it

Shiny Espurr on Phase 10!! Using an adaptation of the staircase reload method.

Such a nice shiny! I'm also glad i got a female one since that's my preferred Meowstic form

There might be a more effective method than this, but this method of manually spawning and checking each Pika and Espurr is how i'll be doing the rest of the hunt to guarantee i'm seeing different ones each time

Note that these are just my observations based on data i collected, not anything based on the actual code of the game, so do take this with a pinch of salt

What this suggests is that in order to effectively hunt shiny Pikachu and/or Espurr, you should either:
-Go up and down the stairs, but run out to the middle to spawn Pika and Espurr each time
-Fast travel to the area again and again, checking the zone's spawns for shinies periodically

So the people that have found shiny Pikachu and Espurr had those shinies generated as they went over to check them, not from one of the rerolls from going up and down the stairs.

Okay so i figured it out. Going up and down the stairs does seem to only reroll the pokemon in a certain vicinity of the player. The reason i was seeing different Pikachu as i checked them was because i was then rolling new ones by running over to them. Same is true for Espurr.

Also going up and down the stairs resets the whole area right, not just what's in a particular radius from the player, so what would make it not reroll the Pikachu? Are people just missing the shiny because it's a subtle one??
