Sounds like we had similar experiences! My first job was in hospo, waiting tables at events. Once they sent me to a stadium bar and the manager was convinced I knew how to run a bar just because I could talk crap with patrons. I’d never pulled a beer!

I think probably the greatest skill we get being streamers is the ability to just talk to strangers. Anxiety or not (because yeah that’s me too) it’s just a skill to consciously turn on sometimes.

Have I mentioned I am moving house? Because I am. And nice house is nice, but this body is struuuuuuuggling.

Your friends sound awesome. I’m glad they helped. I think I have the same problem with clothing too. For the longest time it was a struggle just to find something that fit, much less buying nice things which suit me. Maybe one day I’ll develop some taste and find something that does both. Ha!

I relate to this. I literally had surgery to try and get my weight down to a comfortable level. I’m not there and it’s looking like I’ll never make it to the goal. It’s soul-crushing that I’m likely never going to be comfortable with my appearance.

Went to the cinema last night to catch a 25th Anniversary screening of Daft Punk & Toei Animation’s INTERSTELLA 5555.

I gotta say, it really is the PEAK of Teoi’s animation of that era. It was awesome.

Sadly the cinema didn’t do sound right and there was a lack of bass, but it was still awesome!
