Disabled owner of at least one invisible illness. Neurodivergent. Bisexual. Chaos gremlin and sweetheart (according to other people). She / they.
I had three. The smores one was my favourite.

17.02.2026 21:41 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I was livid, honestly! How has the man never seen a single tropical flower?! They were beautifully realistic. 'I am unfamiliar with this plant and haven't taken 30 seconds to check, therefore it's a bad fake' is an awful take.
17.02.2026 04:51 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Why does *everyone* have to find this stuff out for themselves? Can't at least some of them actually listen *before* they crash and burn?!
AI as we mostly employ it is just a fiction generating machine. Base anything real on it at your peril.
Someone else can eat the bobbly ones but I would fight my own grandma for the coconutty wheels.
14.02.2026 09:46 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I read that as Alan Tickling which is a much more pleasant mental image than whatever these guys have got going on.

10.02.2026 01:45 β π 7 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This is true. But it doesn't stop the pain :(
05.02.2026 11:26 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The globalisation of marketing is really starting to become more obvious. 'College degrees' in a British recruitment ad. 'Tikka chicken' in a McDonalds ad. Where will it end?! (Yes, this is my land and you should get off it).
05.02.2026 11:13 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0I even had someone who works there trying to retrieve it, but absolute stonewalling from all sides.
05.02.2026 00:47 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I've had to boycott them despite my disability (they deleted my account by accident, refused to reactivate it and stole all my ebooks in the process), and yes, everything is 60% more difficult, slow and expensive now.
04.02.2026 23:41 β π 9 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Was genuinely shocked to find out I was following him on FB. Never clicked quicker :/
03.02.2026 02:16 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Honestly can't think of another vegetable I'd happily eat, any time, any where. Must be pre-roasted though. None of this boiled nonsense.

01.02.2026 18:55 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I think they probably figured out it wouldn't change anything if they did. It had to come directly from Trump.
31.01.2026 12:45 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0A text from the hospital that recently traumatised me the most, requesting a rating out of 6. Unfortunately 'actively working against my health' is not an available option.
I know it's an automated text but if I don't cackle like a bond villain revealing his plans, I will actually perish.
Anyone got a cat I can borrow?
Tell me this is not f*cked up.
Healthcare professionals would rather deny care, than attempt to treat something that doesn't yet have a protocol.
Let me spell this out:
Medical professionals want me to willingly destroy my brain, my body, my lungs, straining to breathe at 23-40bpm, all night, every night, despite a treatment being available.
Because breathing too fast isn't their department's problem. They only deal with breathing slow.
I've known what I have since 2015. I've spent ten years trying to convince a professional to even *look* at my statistics, let alone test. In the meantime, I even found my own treatment, bipap.
And now I have proof, respiratory wants to take away my bipap because I am not their problem anymore.
Back from my overnight sleep study. I was there to get proof that I have a rare disease where I hyperventilate constantly in my sleep. I got proof.
The proof has made me neurology's problem, not theirs They want me to return my bipap.
Without which I will go back to hyperventilating in my sleep.
Yeah, me too. I will admit it was convenient having it to hand, especially for Italian food.
30.01.2026 04:58 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Pork isn't expensive over the pond, but in nl at least it was surprisingly difficult to find just pork mince for example. Half-pork half-beef mince is the most popular and I haven't seen it here at all.
30.01.2026 04:42 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0It is actually odd that we don't go in for beef sausage. Even before mad cow it wasn't really a thing. That most of our european nearest neighbours have solid beef sausage reputations I do find it strange. The texture and skin is also so different.
30.01.2026 04:28 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 3 π 0ICE has been holding a disabled Black man for a year!
Rodney Taylor is a double amputee who was days away from receiving new prosthetic legs when ICE took him.
Heβs been denied his prosthetics & placed in solitary.
His health is declining.
Public outrage might save his life.
Say his name:
'These guys were bad so these guys can't also be bad' is ... something. Everyone can be bad on their own merits. Did Johnson and pals murder thousands of people? Absolutely yes. Are Labour fixing to murder quite a lot of people with their anti-disabled anti-immigrant anti-trans bullshit? Also yes.
28.01.2026 10:44 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0The real elephant in the room is whether there's any difference between either of them and Labour :/
28.01.2026 10:24 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0Wow. What part of 'we are comparing apples to apples' is the US not getting, even now?!
Mike Godwin, author of Godwin's law, already gave us explicit permission to equate the current horrors in the US to Nazi Germany, and Trump to Hitler in particular, because they absolutely resemble that remark.
No em-dashes, though. I call bullshit ;)
I really hate how obvious AI writing is once you see how badly and repetitively it does the 'groups of three' thing. I'll get two paragraphs and five instances in and then get so annoyed that I wasted my time.
This reminds me of the time I was asked to do a drawing of cogs working together and was given a hurriedly sketched example if when taken at face value could only move a couple of teeth along before grinding to an immoveable halt.
Ah, metaphors :D
For everyone who needs someone to tell them that jaguars are soft, and capybaras, while adorable, are not soft. Are Llamas soft?
This is what happens when you try to ascertain Llama softness: Put hand on back. Expect resistance. But no. Hand goes down and KEEPS GOING DOWN.
Llamas are mostly air.
