Trauma isn't always scary like war. It can be little things like being yelled at or teased. It's an entire spectrum of experience. Many times, trauma happens slowly over time and just feels normal. It's different for everyone. It's a process of discovery, when one is open and ready 💖

Same tbh. I wish we had the language and resources we have now when I was younger, but the truth is our experiences and what we learned created that language and resources, so it makes the struggle worth it knowing our stories can help others find their story easier 🫂💖

I've hear this from so many young people. It's ok to rely on others. You're never a full human. Development only ends at death. You always grow, struggle, get strong, and fall back down. It's not easy, but it gets easier with practice 💖

Late 20s for me too. Your brain doesn't finish maturing until 25 to 26. All the sudden 27 hits you hard when everything is connected and metacognition goes into overdrive. Knowing this in advance is helpful 💖

Trauma is relative and it doesn't have to be big and bad to affect your development. What's traumatizing for one person may not be for another. As for neurodivergence, I know a lot about this from both experience and education. Have you ever taken the RAADS-R Acessment? It's a great diagnostic 💖

There are many answers to this. The big one is usually unresolved childhood trauma. Others include undiagnosed or highly masked autism and or adhd. I have all 3. There are ways to work through this that lead to happiness and stability. I spent 40 to 48 doing this.

Yes! You can go to the end boss only a couple hours in. It's impossible to beat, but they invented the New Game+ feature so you can get that particular ending. The other endings occur from making certain decisions or beating it at different points during the progression. It's my #1 game of all time!

These games hit differently than games today. The challenge was amped up high to make games last. We played with friends after school and om sleepovers passing the controller each time we died. We would scream with joy upon beating levels. They rewire your hippocampus and teach patience. Enjoy! 💖
