Mass Deportation: Analyzing the Trump Administration's Attacks on Immigrants, Democracy, and America - American Immigration Council The first six months of President Trumpโ€™s return to office have marked the most extreme changes to the immigration system in modern U.S. history.

Six months into this Trump admin, it's becoming impossible to track every change. So we didn't.

What we did is to put together a special report that evaluates what immigration policy looks like now--and how to understand it going forward. www.americanimmigrationcouncil.org/report/mass-...

The Trump administrationโ€™s first six months back in office represent the most extreme and sweeping immigration crackdown in modern U.S. history.

But our special report shows that this isn't just a hardline immigration agenda.

It's an attack on our democracy.

Supreme Court hands Trump major win, limits judgesโ€™ ability to block birthright citizenship order nationwide The justices did not definitively resolve the legality of the executive order.

Today's SCOTUS ruling will create a chaotic and confusing patchwork of rules across the country.

Constitutional rights like birthright citizenship shouldnโ€™t depend on where you live or whether you can file a lawsuit in time.

This ruling creates a reality in which that could be the case.

U.S. violent and property crime rates have plunged since 1990s, regardless of data source

I think keeping our communities safe should be the highest priority of government. But the idea that immigration is driving a crime way in American cities over the last 20+ years has no basis in reality. I grew up in NYC in the 80s. Crime has plummeted since then. True just about everywhere.
