New orchestra season starts next week. Made me realise that no one in my family has ever seen me play in an orchestra. What a lonely realisation.

Quila had a rough start at a puppy mill and spent the last two years being bounced between fosters and failed adoptions. We were warned about many behavioural issues. We haven’t seen any. She’s been the easiest bird I have ever spent time with. Pure curiosity and cuddles.

Listening to Jeremy Dutcher and somehow this is the first time I actually looked at the album art. Noticing it during the wax recorded section at the end of Mehcinut was especially poignant.

Our house is so boring while you’re at work.
