Postcards are great! not only does the recipient get the message, but also everyone else who handles the card.

We read “The Witch of Blackbird Pond” in 5th grade, maybe. I have thought of it occasionally since then, decided to read it again. The copy I got off ThriftBooks is marked up by some student, mostly noting examples of alliteration & personification… then some are like this one : “WHO CARES - YOLO”

I do recall a certain graduating senior in that Y2K class who smuggled a device into the ceremony, for the purpose of disrupting the event.
So… no, not a new phenomenon.

No, but people had trouble reliably spelling “phosphate”.

Translation headache is the best feeling there is.

Oh, as usual I underestimate the distance I walked… map says I did eight miles yesterday, not six.

Who even left me unsupervised to just … write copy.
Like whatever I want to? Oh what could possibly go wrong.

I want to know if the coat sold already, but I’m not meant to care about it anymore.

Today’s adventure started with the house filling with natural gas; awesome. Workers tell me someone nicked a gas line, “Nothing to worry about - happens all the time!” …does it.
Huh.

So… I am readying my heart for the possibility of returning home tonight to a smoking crater (shrug emoji)….

Today has been: moving books, dogwalk, laundry & more moving, three estate sales (including one we had to wait in line for; there was rain but I do keep an umbrella in the lobster), another dogwalk, wee touch of cozy time while the rains really come down out there, and then another nother dogwalk…

I packed my books into boxes & now I don’t want to carry them.

Today is the day the motorcycle people have decided to emerge from hibernation, and as usual they have all forgotten how to drive & what the rules of the road are, so - watch for them! Bikers out there being super stupid.

That thing was so creepy, on many more levels than just resembling a lurking intruder.

Vigorous pacing from the one room to the other - trying to decide if I’m keeping this shirt around…

My brain decided this morning that temperatures come in Farenheits and Censibels…
It’s aboot 0*F / -18*C
VERY short dogwalk!

Definitely exhausted.
I need more sleep than there are hours in a day, but there is too much to do to take that nap.

A little fresh snowfall makes the whole world sparkle. ✨

I has successfully forgotten what day of the week it is.
