I agree, but think it was almost protection, not for the team but him personally. Rare to play 90 on PL debut.

I’ve had time to reflect on the Arsenal draw and I can only draw one conclusion. Sander Berge deserves to win the ballon d’or, and the only way we will be satisfied with anyone else is if it’s Sasa Lukic.

Has Marco ever considered using the 3-4-2-1 system with our squad? Given we've got a strong back 3 we could play in Bassey, Andersen, Tete, wing backs of Jedi & Castagne, solid midfield of Lukic & Berge - this might allow a combination of two '10s' of Iwobi/Smith Rowe/Pereira to flourish?
