Feeling blessed to call this place home! The joy on the boys' faces as they run, dig, splash and play is priceless. And so many 'glimmers' to signal safety to the limbic system. Feeling more grounded and calm as we come away (a little chilly but not as chilly as the boys who are soaking🤦🏽‍♀️)

My weekend project didn't get as much time as it needed so it's become an evening project instead!

I'm really surprised at just how soft this recycled plastic bottle yarn is! I'm loving working with some chunkier yarn. Much gentler on the old finger joints!

Nor I l! I bought some cheaper ones for teaching at one point but I was so offended by them I replaced them with Clover in the end anyway! Always need the right tool for the job! 😂

It sure is! Made with organic linen a number of years ago but still a strong favourite of mine. Not perfect but it's my go to project bag, it always makes me smile!

A crochet project bag on a lap made from textured linen. The bag is holding three balls of yarn (light grey, lilac and lime green) with a hand sat on the bag holding a granny stitch rectangle in lilac and lime green yarn and a blue crochet hook through the last stitch.

Time to wind down with some nice repetitive granny stitches.
Light dimmed, feet up, crochet in hand, chamomile tea cooling and an orchid in flower to tone in with my yarn. Perfect end to the day!
