I legit didn't mind it. They are just a kit of gadget + passive.

If they were presented as faceless soldiers and had a few more models for each faction, it probably wouldn't be as big an issue.

Jumping between Battlefield 6 and 2042 makes it very hard to understand what exactly improved in 6 (besides the drag revive, that's pretty great).

Movement is worse, visuals are a mess, in-game weapon customization is gone, classes have less tools at their disposal, TTK is a joke. What did we get?

Above everything, it kinda feels to me like the Battlefield equivalent of Episode 9.

It feels like a course correction in response to 2042, while making a collage of what the diehard BF playerbase wants, but also we want to be CoD.

I'm surprised they didn't cave in to the pressure from the players and lock weapons to classes again, though.
