It only took a month, but episode 5’s script is finished at 1965 lines. For reference, the season 1 finale had 2401 lines, so this one is going be about two hours long. Writing the script a little bit each night for the past month was maybe not the best idea. This has to stop at some point…

Episode is in fact coming out roughly 12 hours from now. Honestly, this one is probably the most mid episode I’ve made in a while. Anyways, look at all of these characters I made over the past couple months. Half of them definitely weren’t made when I was procrastinating no sir I would never do that

Woah chat look a new episode got finished tonight. Definitely didn’t take two months to make. Remember when I said this episode was going to be short? Yeah… good times. This one is 107 minutes long. Anyways, it’ll almost certainly drop next Saturday, so I guess mark your calendars or something.

July was a really busy month for me, so progress on the episode has been very slow. Still, I’ve got the entire episode scripted out, and I’m slowly working on the drawings. Hopefully it’ll only take another two weeks or so. Oh, yeah, btw this episode is not short at all I lied in that other post.

Finished the episode a couple hours ago, and it’s set to drop in about another 11. This is the second longest episode I’ve ever created, which is not a good sign (The episodes were supposed to only be an hour long, not an hour and a half). I swear, episode 4 won’t be longer than this one. I hope…

Finished drawing the episode tonight, but I kinda forgot to get a sneak peak (It’s really late for me rn). I guess you can have this genderbent drawing I did for the og 20 colors (Try to spot all the references). Fun fact #5: In an alternate timeline, only Lavender and Blue would survive the finale.

I just about have all of the pre-elimination scenes drawn, so we’re getting somewhat close to the end. Fun fact #4: Lime was originally going to make it the finale, having Red’s role of blowing up the place. This was scrapped in favor of Red’s arc (I wish I would have kept Lime around longer though)

Script for episode 3 has been completed, and it’s somehow even longer than episode 2 (1,442 lines.) The good news is Deltarune didn’t slow me down nearly as much as I thought it would, so I’ve already got a decent chunk of the episode drawn. Now the issue is me drawing the rest (This is a big issue)

And it’s done, clocking in at an hour and a half in length. I’m probably going to end up releasing this episode this Saturday. Fun fact #3: Blue initially was one of the fodder characters, planned to die in the first 5 episodes. White, Blue, and Magenta were the three I wanted out first.

I am now looking at this image, and realizing I forgot Aero’s wristbands. Guess I’ll fix that tomorrow…

Episode has been fully drawn out so now my attention goes to adding text (Prob will take ~2 days.) Fun fact #2: Tan was originally going to be the main villain of the algo contestants, with his storyline ending with him killing Lavender in his last episode. This was changed before episode 2 was made

I’ve got about 2/3 of the episode drawn at this point so we’re getting pretty close to being done. Fun fact #1: Brown was planned to die in episode 11 of Algicosathlon due to his Jester role (Alongside Yellow, so two deaths in one), but I later spared him to carry on his 0% survival chance storyline

The script has been completed, so now I just have to draw everything. This episode surpassed episode 18 in line count by a single line, making this my second longest episode in that regard. Now the real question is can I finish this episode up in like two weeks, which is uh, doable, I think…

I nearly have the script done for the next episode, and I can feel some motivation starting to return. I’m going to sleep on it, but there’s a chance that I release the first episode on Saturday. Gives me a way to get immediate feedback (and it’s kinda hard to tease episodes without spoiling stuff)

Episode 1 is officially finished, clocking in at an hour and 23 minutes long. Now to decide when I actually want to upload it, while I start working on the second episode…

The episode is very close to being finished (Everything except the music is done), so looks like I will achieve my goal of getting it done by the 25th. I still haven’t decided when I want to release the episodes tbh. At best, I can get one done a month, but I don’t know how realistic that really is.

Progress is coming along quite nicely, and I finished drawing the pre-elimination section today. Already over 1k images, and I’ve still got a whole elimination to draw out. (Which, tbf, the finale was 2.5k images, so not nearly as bad as that one was.) Anyways, Wine is the best character, trust.

The urge to do literally anything other than work on the episode is quite strong, not gonna lie. I probably could have made this episode in like 3 weeks if I didn’t procrastinate like every day. Don’t worry, I’m setting myself a goal to get it done by the 25th, so hopefully that’ll motivate me.

I’m on the first episode, and we’re already getting over an hour long. This is not a good omen for future me. For reference, somewhere around 900 lines is generally the equivalent to a hour, and this is definitely going to surpass that mark. Kinda hoping to have it done within a month, but we’ll see

My new goal is to get this episode finished before June 5th (which should be very easy to do) because I’m going to spend an unreasonable amount of time playing Deltarune then. Also, Silksong 2025. I’ve got a feeling that I’m not going to get an episode done for a while whenever that finally drops.

I don’t really have a lot to talk about right now as I really just haven’t been pushing myself to get the episode done. At some point I want to get back to making an episode every month (give or take), but right now I’m kinda just taking it easy. Still writing a scene daily, but not a whole lot else

Still haven’t decided how I want to go about this. I kinda want to wait until the series is closer to being finished to start uploading it, but that would mean waiting at least 2 years. Got bored so I made a tier list ranking AJR songs. Didn’t bother ranking The Living Room since I pretty much never listen to it

Completely unrelated from anything Algicosathlon, but I managed to hit 70k trophies in Brawl Stars. Not nearly as impressive since the rework to trophy gain, but still a nice accomplishment nevertheless. Probably will be posting about more random things while I exist in this weird in-between period.

Jeez, it’s been 27 days since I last posted? Damn, time flies. I’ve just been slowly planning away some things, and honestly debating if I want to do a second season. Realistically it’d take me at least 3 years to make, and that’s a pretty big time investment. Not gonna stop me from planning though.
