On August 3rd, it will be 6 years since a self-admitted white supremacist drove ten hours to my city in order to, in his own words, hunt Mexicans to stop the Mexican invasion. He shot 46 people in a Wal-Mart, killing 23 of them. All Americans, mind you. Nothing has fucking changed in this country.

Having been in that same scenario more often than I'd like, and certainly will revisit in the future, please give yourself some grace. Don't see it as wasted time, it all always builds to something. I'm confident you'll get your momentum back.
