Heard a Syrian say that maybe today shouldn’t be called Liberation Day, but the fall of the first tyrant.

I’m still mourning the horrific massacre in Sweida. And of course Latakia. And for the victims of these crimes who have not received any justice.

After what happened in Sweida in July, it’s hard to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of the fall of Assad. Not because of Assad’s fall, but because many people who supported the revolution found themselves betrayed by their own country.

I think my daughter wants to do a PhD too.
