Amped1 is such a great amp, I paired mine with a Quad Cortex and a 4x12.. never been happier.

If I put my Strat in a cupboard for 10 years when I get it out it will work just as good as tthey day I put it in.. Software on the otherhand, will be useless..

All the reviews said "meh.." but this little Gaia 2 has stolen my heart, ignore the presets and it will surprise you. Plus thanks to the"meh" people it's as cheap as chips now, so grab a bargain before it becomes the modern classic it secretly is.

I had a good look, and like the person said the other day I don't think there's much I couldn't achieve with my usual synths, I think the performance aspect of the Solar 42 etc set them apart opening up a live opportunity.. I think I'm lost :)

I posted yesterday an almost identical post, old synth, not used, can't sell.. sentimental.. there are places that bring them back to life, check "Mend it Mark" on YouTube, he can breathe life into anything.

It was fun watching them argue about the set list pre gig while Dace was constantly shuffling cassettes, and my other memory is they got a 2nd encore and backstage had a huge row about playing a new song because one of them had a new synth and "We can't play it I don't have a sound yet!!)

The is is the gig we played at, my memory of them live was that most of their show was on cassette, one per song, Dave would go to the back of the stage and select the next song for the cassette player.. primative :) they'd add lead lines and singing live.

We were called The Three Laws, we played with DM at Crocs in Braintree (it was filmed and became their first TV appearance) and the Castle Club in Birmingham.. can't think of any more, have decided to keep it, spent today playing with a digital synth, it's not the same :)

I bought this Roland SH-09 the month it was released in 1979, my band supported Depeche Mode with it, we have history, it always sounded better than it's little brother the SH-101, but now it hardly gets used, should I sell it? Sentiment says no.. what say you?

Oh boy this is going to be a curve, the arabic scale on the keyboard makes all notes fantastic, I went through a deep buyers remorse 2 hours ago, but I'm back in the game.. what a thing!

So far so fun.. It's going to take some getting used to, user errors galore at the moment.

Ha! It arrived 10 mins after I replied to you.. then I had to design 4 running vests to help pay for the thing so I've only spent 2 hours playing with it.. initial thought "Hmm oscillator 3 in Drone 1 is the sound of the demos. " Then I realised just how much of the sound is derived from the effects

Thats good to hear.. hovering over the dhl app here, I'm next, but dhl can never find our house.. time to walk the streets like an anxious father...
