criterion savage might be gone, with regular criterion (still savage level) as the new highest. i could've misheard, but i definitely don't think criterion itself is changing to that extent

i don't think they are? from what i can tell criterion itself is the same, but there's a new version in between variant/criterion called variant (advanced), which is only the three bosses but you can do them in any order and they're a little stronger.
