Anyone going to #AnimeNYC, I'll be hauling around an Anime Clone Hero setup Friday - Sunday. One shot (just try not to fail in the first 10 seconds), any song on here, Expert only. If you survive you get a sticker, if you're sick you get a different sticker.

I legitimately hate Square Enix's HD-2D. Let's just bury all of the unique pixel art style of each game in the same godray/depth of field/vignette/bloom/chromatic aberration shader slop that hasn't changed since 2018.

In other news, resources are properly refreshed on a DDC now, so you can chain consecutive DDCs

Currently, Kronii can only pull herself onto ledges with a Drill Dash, but that's changing in the future! She'll be able to climb a ledge during a normal jump or Kroniicopter as well. #holoIndie #ChronoGear

- Don't expect last year's code to work.
- Last minute changes to fix changing 3rd party APIs suck.
- Save at least triple the amount of expected time to get everything working.
- Always bet on something failing, always.
- If you think something is idiot-proof...

We've been refining Kronii's moveset based on your feedback! 💪⏳

- It will be possible to dash indefinitely. Doing so puts her in a sprint!
- Haste will increase dashing speed instead of walking speed, which should make Haste movement easier.

We'll update the demo with our tweaks as well!

That being said, as the speedrunner on the team I'll try to make those changes minimal for my sake as well. Don't stop grinding times down, but understand that the game is subject to change until release. Look forward to the green pastures of full game runs beyond the IL grind.

Heads up: movement/level layout might change between demo and release due to bug fixing, edge cases, etc. Wheel boost was almost on the cut because I was considering avoiding collision entirely to stop wheel pushing you OoB. Not actually the solution implemented, but still.

Enunciation is way too different

The amount of time I need to play run roulette until everything lines up is time that could be spent actually coding, and doing runs for that length of time has caused my fingers to go sore against the Xbox series dpad and right trigger.

I think I might make one more solid go at lowering the Battleship time, but just the one. My right thumb seems to have developed an odd callus at the joint where I press, so that's probably a sign to stop.
