I find ChatGPT useful for finding what part of the building code I need to read, but I've received enough very confident but completely wrong answers that it will be a long time before I trust it

Things like NotebookLM are great for researching the building code to find things you need to read (once you upload the relevant docs) but a standard query of Gemini or ChatGPT etc is likely to result in very confident errors. Knowing the limitations is really important!

We're installing a double sided LULA elevator like that now, it travels 3 floors. Typical user would enter one side and exit the other. I don't think the door arrangement/2nd door had a huge cost impact.
