Really can’t recommend the latest season of Articles of Interest by @trufelman.bsky.social highly enough. Everyone wears the same gear now because they’re following fashion trends! Special forces have switched back to 80s jungle camo because they want to look cool and different from everyone else.

In business school I had some classmates who were recently discharged veterans, and they talked about how veterans often don’t know how to dress, because their uniforms were given to them with instructions their entire adult lives. Probably something similar with athletes.

I use Safari as my main browser and sometimes lose track of tabs because of this behavior. (My biggest problem is finding where a new tab with an interesting link decided to open up.) I think Tab Groups are meant to help, but I don’t use those.

I don’t there’s a setting for this that’s just how Safari has chosen to solve the problem of “too many tabs for them all to fit on the screen.” Chrome will show more, smaller tabs on the screen at once, but it eventually gets to a point where it just hides them without even offering to scroll.

My Safari does this too, but I can scroll horizontally in the tab bar to get to the hidden ones.
