My Grandmother used to work at CorningWare(sp?). She said her job used to be to take a random finished piece and throw it at the wall. If it broke, they whole run was sent back for resmelting. She used to get alot of frustration out at work, :)

I haven’t been under 300 since probably before I was married to be honest. This is great momentum to carry me into this week.

Wanna know how quiet it is around us? I’m sitting outside on my back porch…on the 4TH OF JULY!! I haven’t been able to do that since like 2002?!?

On top of cutting grass…I also have landscaping and gardening tasks. Thankfully, this stuff was already planted. Under my care, I doubt it will last long! But it’s beautiful while it’s here.

me back. I heard about layoffs today and my heart sank. I heard how they were handled and again…I get the anger/frustration. It needs to be done better…folks DESERVE it to be better.

I’m so sorry they handled yinz in such a callous way. When I was RIF’d in ‘23, my Manager was in the call with HR. He also followed up with me constantly afterwards to see how I was doing. Made sure I landed on my feet. When I rejoined in Oct ‘24, he was the first to message me on Teams welcoming..

So far at the new house: gotta change most of the electrical outlets, change several breakers, swap the washing machine with ours at old house, and probably replace kitchen cabinets. Remind me why I wanted a new house? 😕
