Tonight felt very much like a level up match a young lion would have against a top star in New Japan. I can see a future with Speedball as a top babyface in it.

I'm genuinely interested to see those new viewers' thoughts on tonight's show. I've been seeing a lot of hardcore fans say it was kind of a low grade Dynamite which I get. Lots of talking segments in a row, but traditionally that has been good to casual fans. No one can deny AEW does wrestling best.

He realized like all these other people coming into WWE are learning, it isn't always the promised land. He had a great run, I won't deny that but now what? He beats Cena and then what? At least in AEW he had a voice, in WWE he's a number.

That reason is TK didn't just magically fall for his "I'm a top guy" bullshit. Cody just wasn't necessary for AEW to grow, and the key there is GROW. Cody wanted AEW to be his Jim Crockett Promotions, he wanted it all to be about and around himself. When TK didn't just play ball, he cried.
