it obviously pisses me off that people don't care if politicians are sex criminals in general, but even if you think "well why should i care about their personal life if i agree with them on the issues", a person who sexually harasses people is definitionally a person who will abuse their power

Hey here’s a free sentence if anyone wanted to use it in a book: “She had the sort of eyes that look at things.” I didn’t say it was a good sentence but maybe you can use it if you have a character that looks at things with her eyes

Sort of but not really relevant to the Kindle fiasco… One of the joys of using Libby is that very often I have to wait on hold for my ebook. I’m never the first to read The Hot New Book, and often by the time I get to it, the hype has died down. This has been really edifying for me.

The Egg Boiler, by Gwendolyn Brooks Being you, you cut your poetry from wood. The boiling of an egg is heavy art. You come upon it as an artist should, With rich-eyed passion, and with straining heart. We fools, we cut our poems out of air, Night color, wind soprano, and such stuff.
