Formerly a political news junkie, I am now only looking for weather and CA fire updates.
My son Alex is safe so far, _south_ of LA, in Irvine.
At least 5 named fires are still burning all around north of LA. Terrible!
We are expecting snow this weekend in central NC.
Bah!
