Red Kite
Nothing new around #LadywalkNR this morning but not too bad a visit on a windy day!
Highlights included a partial eclipse Mandarin, a very distant Harrier almost certainly Marsh, Red Kite, 6x Oycs & 3x LRP.
Unusual to see someone camped on one of the River Tame islands!

A few people have commented about the lack of recent otter updates at #ladywalk_nr This is due to the Trail camera and some associated equipment being stolen from the reserve. This also raises the problem that Iβm reluctant to place another camera in the same spot.

My 1st Lapwing chicks of the year, 4 in total.
As well as Peacocks, lots of Orange-tip, Speckled Wood, Brimstone & Red Admiral on the wing.
After a minor painful op yesterday, i was only going to wander around Fishery Lanes at #LadywalkNR but ended up doing a very slow full circuit. No year ticks, unfortunately, but it's good to be out and about again π
