Honest to God! I loved this cartoon, hated what they did to Simon & while Alucard is somehow fucking worse, kid me was cheering internally b/c Simon had enough of a pity party & FINALLY sacked it up!

The “like father like son” moral here is awful b/c of implications but Simon still DID SOMETHING.

This was also one of two instances where Simon *wasn’t* just a vain, poncy jackass & actually stepped up to do his goddamn job.
