Our family is participating in the economic blackout today. It is important to emphasize that people do what they can. The resistance will require many actions. Do what you can and don’t feel bad when you can’t part in one specific event. It is our collective actions that will bring about change.

Those present at the inauguration were mostly (if not all) white, rich, and males wearing ties. Trump’s core supporters were left out in the cold.

To all of my Facebook friends, I deactivated my account this morning. I think I’m switching to this platform.

I used that yarn to make this backpack. It is really trying to get the colors to line up correctly. I had to change up hook sizes and play around with it. You’re doing great.

I just had an L5/S1 fusion 10 days ago. The first several days of recovery are brutal. Hang in there.

Trump and dismantling the DOE will devastate vulnerable people. FAFSA, Pell Grants, etc. are administered through the DOE. If you rely on student aid for your child’s college education your vote probably eliminated that. My degree was a way out of poverty for me, earned as a widowed single mom.

Trump’s team is skipping FBI background checks for Matt Gaetz and Tulsi Gabbard.

Because they’d obviously turn up nothing, right?!

I miss my tortie. She died in 2023 after a long bout of kidney disease.
