The current administration want to take our taxes and give them to the 6 riches dudes in our country.

That really pisses me off, and it should piss you off too.

From the states, I support visiting Canada in place of the US.

The administration doesn’t represent values of most people and can go kick sand.

How can we mount an organized force behind this idea. I like it!

Talked to Tim Walz as he campaigned in Wisconsin. Thought his answer to one Q I'd had for Dems - if you come back in 2028, do you rebuild everything DOGE broke? - was interesting.

Agreed, and I think there is a path forward we’re both sides can benefit. How long term thinking and willingness to engage with the other party would need to occur.

Graduating from a masters program next spring. My opinion is if the government won’t take things I value seriously, and another country will, then the choice is made.

Can we just… get away from name calling. Idk the whole blame game and tribalism doesn’t seem to be helping people.

Let’s assume no change to federal logging laws.
Logging by reducing density of trees and cover. More open forests will be able to represent more habitats and increase biodiversity. Typically FED logging has variable selection and not clear cuts. Clear cuts are not logging, and bad for ecosystems.

I’m going to be real, trump has a terrible way to go about it. However, we do need to reduce fuels in some forests, and increasing logging might be a productive way to achieve this.

It has become evident to me that:
1. The solution to many of our funding problems can be solved by taxing the rich
2. Many have been convinced that taxing the rich is a bad thing.
3. Running an opposition party on β€œfuck the rich” could be effective.
