Why am I being called out?

Been watching that storm for a while now! Incredibly long lived severe thunderstorm with damaging winds associated with it.

Oh I may or may not have also gotten married a couple weeks ago to my partner of 8 years. So, that’s a thing that’s happened. 😊🥰 We did some pretty cool things to celebrate, including seeing a big koi fish.

Got my feedback from my hosting audition I did for AGDQ. The feedback was really encouraging and insightful. Originally wasn’t planning on going to SGDQ, but damn do I really want to go now 😂 might try to make it happen.

Low key, while I’m feeling heavy fatigue and burn out with my job (especially given than I could be fired at the snap of an idiot billionaire’s fingers 🙄), yesterday has reminded me why I love to do what I do. I was on the warning desk, and thankfully weather didn’t get bad, it still gave me joy.

I want to go to more speedrun marathons and volunteer. I had a ton of fun at GDQ this past winter and made so many new friends. Wish I had more free time to volunteer 😂

I’m trying so hard to remain positive, but man is it hard. Seeing colleagues get fired just for being in the agency for less than one year is so hard to watch. Especially knowing that they’ll try coming for me next since I’m still considered “conditional” in my employment status. 🫠

I just finished my last midnight shift this morning. Took a 4 hour nap. I’m struggling to say awake, but I need to reset my sleep schedule. Been debating on streaming to help keep myself awake.

These stretch of midnight shifts has been sooo much busier than any of my previous midnights. It feels like they’ve been dragging on for eternity. It also doesn’t help I’ve had a head cold the last 5 shifts.
