The INSIGHT team is excited to be working with Dr Balal on an open source medical AI foundation model that could transform the detection and care of #keratoconus.

The model will be trained on curated, anonymised imaging data from Moorfields, in addition to community-sourced corneal images.

Emerging and future technologies for tackling sight loss were presented at the @moorfieldsbrc.bsky.social symposium yesterday, from gene therapy to the data and AI-enabled discovery enabled by INSIGHT to novel devices unlocking new discoveries.
