Samantha Cookes pleads guilty to stealing €60,000 from Department of Social Protection | RadioKerry.ie Ms Cookes was arraigned on two counts of deception, and 16 sample counts of stealing money from the Department of Social Protection.

Samantha Cookes, who previously lived in Kerry under the aliases of Jade O’Sullivan and Carrie Jade Williams has pleaded guilty to stealing over €60,000 from the Department of Social Protection at the Circuit Court in Tralee.

3 people have been convicted on all charges in relation to a public order incident at Tralee Library last year.

The hearing began in September with 7 hours of state evidence. Before defense evidence was heard over 4 hours in October.
