Just had one of the most fun conversations about thoughts on anime and manga through the ages and being reminded my nostalgia holds up haha

Btw partner was right about the big boss confusing everyone and creating a whole bunch of work and confusion

oomf, I'm on the Bount arc, and I remember disliking it when it first released.

Now I don't feel like I should watch it since its just not enjoyable, onto the next arc

Was kindly reminded yesterday by my partner to stop blaming myself for things that aren’t in my control.

grabbed a nice lunch. We then got to do some prep for halloween, and then I just organized some of my MtG cards. It was a very relaxing day and I hope there are more to come spending time with them.

Hopefully final update regarding this crazy audit saga:
Had 2 big meetings with leadership and Auditors, and discussed the updates they went well.

Took my team to lunch, and just passed out for an hour.

need to finish up 1 more thing, but i think (fingers crossed, knock on wood) we're done

Everyone just needs a break from the reality of things, its just been harder to do so with the world, life, work, family, etc... so try your best to be a bit kinder to those around you.

No one knows your exact situation, but we need to do what we need to do to survive

Small Update:

Our auditors are asking why would anyone want to make these changes if they made actual sense, and I pushed back to them saying ask my boss, he recommended it because of how we wants items to be presented.

No one wants to do this extra work to make things cosmetically better for you

I'm just frustrated, anxious, tired and just want things to calm down so I don't have to stress out so much. It's been 6 months since the layoffs at work, and it feels like I've been going nonstop ever since, I'm burnt out from work

its just SOOO tempting to quit and search for other jobs, but with this shit market its like ... bleghhhh

I just need a break man, I'm sick of it to where I can't sleep or do things I would like to do. Especially with the last episode I had an anxiety attack that caused me some MAJOR health problems.

I'm tired man, and I don't like doing that to my people, so why are you doing this to me?

I've stressed my partner out, and all this shitty ass job situation is because my boss can't stick up for us to just wait another year to make these changes when we've vetted them in its entirety. Instead we jump through hoops backwards and forwards to make amends to trying to get things in and out.

this years audit drained me so much, and it wasn't even the auditors that did it, it was our own team because of the back and forth of wanting to appease presentation of materials to be in a specific way. I've had to redo work 10 times over, just for it to be rejected, resubmitted, and then redone
